Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder, was born on Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter after her hometown. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish has a connection to Ryder's Jewish father. The actress is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her older sister is Uria. Ryder moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder, who loved reading when she was 12, became a bookworm since Ryder was not able to access television. Ryder was enrolled in acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12years old in the American Conservatory Theatre. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 old. Ryder endured bullying while in highschool. She hoped that her acting career would change this. However, the plan didn't pan out. But she continued to chase her goals. Beetlejuice which was a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major break. Ryder continued playing parts that proved successful in a variety of films. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
